Born and raised in Butler, PA, I have a heartfelt interest in the success and effectiveness of individuals in our community. I have had the honor and privilege to serve our great nation proudly as a United States Marine. This experience has solidified my values and provided a wide range of experiences. This experience allows me to work towards giving back to our community. For decades, I have been fortunate to provide mental health services and support to infants, children, adolescents, adults, and families. Many people I have worked with have experienced a significant breakdown in relationships, partnerships, and family units. The negative effect of these family changes on children leads me to my current emphasis on helping people negotiate and assert co-parenting. Being in charge of our court/co-parenting model has allowed me to work with court-ordered individuals and others to teach and encourage skill development to manage anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, problem-solving, effective communication, conflict resolution, reconciliation, budget/finance, transitions, and grief/loss as well as other symptoms and diagnosis. I completed specific training in treatment modalities for individuals who have attention deficit disorder and those who have a diagnosis on the autism spectrum. My top priority is to focus on positive behavior change for the present and the future from a comprehensive approach in a collaborative, non-judgmental manner. “The whole is more than the sum of its parts.”
