Amy Swigart, recognized internationally for her knowledge and experience addressing Reactive Attachment Disorder, has spent the past twenty-five years working with over 800 Reactive Attachment cases and has been an expert witness in Reactive Attachment court cases. Amy is a Behavioral Specialist Consultant and mental health therapist who consults for several placement facilities, juvenile courts, and programs, including the Inspiring Change counseling center in Butler. She was a probation officer with Butler County Juvenile Court Services and is an instructor for the Juvenile Court Judges Commission for Pennsylvania. Her 35 years of experience have resulted in international recognition for providing therapy, education, and consultation for Reactive Attachment Disorder, severe regressive behaviors, and diagnoses on the autism spectrum. Amy has also been a foster parent supporting teenage girls with severe emotional problems.
