As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, I bring a wealth of experience in addressing various mental health, relationship, and addiction concerns for individuals and groups. My journey began by supporting survivors of domestic violence, which ignited my passion for specializing in trauma-focused therapy. This experience led me to work with individuals and groups grappling with substance use disorders as well. My commitment is to meet clients at any stage of their life journey.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care with a strong focus on interpersonal theories. I integrate multiple therapy models, including EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), and somatic work. I believe that trauma can manifest in diverse ways, impacting individuals uniquely. I aim to understand these effects and address the underlying causes to help individuals embrace their most authentic selves. I offer therapy for individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and attachment struggles. It's important to note that I am an EMDR-trained therapist actively pursuing certification through ongoing consultation.
