I am a Master's level counselor specializing in individual therapy for adolescents and adults in the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, I provide counseling for neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, those on the autism spectrum, and individuals with mood disorders. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and feminist principles, which emphasize distress tolerance and emotional regulation while considering how systemic injustices impact our emotional and physical well-being.
With five years of prior teaching experience in middle and high school STEM, I have been passionate about mental health advocacy since my own middle school years. My interest in mental health care, combined with my love for my students, guided me toward a career in counseling.
In my spare time, I enjoy writing fiction and spending time with my three cats and my mom's dog. My wife and I love going on outdoor adventures and savoring sushi on the weekends.
